It Has Now Been Obvious To Me…

by | Jun 21, 2024

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised,
that there is no need for me to expedite
and the things can wait.
I do not need to have love in my life
by rushing into a commitment,
just to carry the tag
of being someone with a relationship.
I cannot force conversations
but try to understand at times
that my friends can be busy
prioritizing their own lives.

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised…
I do not have to rush
with the process of healing,
because it will not happen overnight,
But those are the times to realize
that the pain and misfortunes
What I come across will teach me
to love my broken pieces
and to love myself more.

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised…
The older I get, the more I value my privacy
and accept the way
to let actions speak louder than words
I am being intolerant towards
toxic communications, friendships
and any relationships
that is blocking my growth.

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised…
It is essential to prioritize my goals
and my journey to be my best version
To give importance to the loved ones
and work hard to live the life
that I have always needed.

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised…
I am responsible towards being pickier
about whom I will spend my energy on and time with.
I may prefer to be alone,
and live my life in coffee shops
drinking my favourite coffee,
as I allow my thoughts to flow
on my notepad.

It has now been obvious to me
and now I have realised…
That maturity does not come with age
but it hits at every crucial stage,
where I have to make a choice
and when I select to be wiser, stronger, and optimistic enough
to be a better person for myself
each time…

My stint at ‘Navigation Maps’

‘Never say never,’ my mother always used to tell me.  I was very poor in Geography as a student, especially maps. They would have anything placed anywhere in it and it would be a stress buster for my family to read my maps. They would have a hearty laugh interrogating...
